We are delighted to announce the opening of the “Professor Constantin LUCA Award” competition for young researchers during the Eurachem Workshop 2025.

This competition is designed to encourage young researchers to present their scientific achievements at Eurachem Workshop 2025. Sponsored by Asociaţia Eurachem-România, the award carries a prize of 200 EUR and is dedicated to the memory of Professor Constantin LUCA.

Professor Constantin LUCA was a pioneer in promoting Eurachem activities in Romania, introducing Eurachem guidelines through decades of dedicated work at the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest. He was a steadfast advocate for inspiring young minds to engage in the study and practice of analytical chemistry.

To participate, young researchers enrolled in the Eurachem Workshop 2025, presenting either oral or poster contributions, are invited to submit an application to the workshop secretariat by 15th May 2025.

Participants will be required to deliver a 4-minute oral presentation of their research findings during a special competition session on Tuesday, 27th May 2025, evaluated by an international expert jury.
